I'm going to contact Phatnoise and see exactly how it interfaces with the Symphony...
If it will make use of the display to run song titles as their demo does I'm sold. Otherwise I'll still be rolling my own. I want as seamless an integration as possible. Hmmm... I'll post answers once I get them.

Well... considering that it is using this adapter:
Audi Symphony - Using Blitzsafe AUD/ALPDMXV.1 Adapter
I would think that it would probably work off of the CDC option on the head unit... and thus you would not get song titles or anything like that. I even think song length/time would be stretch since our OEM units dont even do that... who knows.
I am curious to see their response.
I think this "Blitzsafe" adapter has been used by others to do custom MP3 intergrations.

That was my impression...
The only thing that makes me think they've got it working with the full capabilities of the car is that it says something to the effect of "and text provided that your system supports it."
If it's the plain old Blitz adapter that's been discussed before then it will be audio only, and at that point not nearly as interesting... having access to thousands of songs without any means to see where you are in your catalog is worthless.

Audi Symphony - Using Blitzsafe AUD/ALPDMXV.1 Adapter
Has anyone used this adapter with the Symphony HU and an Alpine (S601) changer? I just picked mine up today and installed it and it's BUGGY! It can't access disk 4 directly and can only access it after playing through disk 3. Also, the feature to skip tracks using the scan **** (right side of the hu) doesn't work correctly. It ends up playing a track either 1 up/down from the one you scroll to..what gives? Does anyone out there have the same problem or did I just unlucky adn got a bad adapter?
