Big Trouble with my car..... appreciate the help
Here's the history- a couple months ago, i was driving back to school from a bunch of different driving trips. After having driven about 600 miles in a week, and on that night about 200 miles at 75MPH, I stopped to get gas. I filled up the tank and, lo, the car would not start. Not even close, it made the starting sound but did not completely go. For 20 minutes i was stuck in some middle-of-nowhere town in upstate new york. finally coax it into starting with some TLC on the gas pedal, and it hesitantly drives the rest of the way. Worked fine up until about 2 weeks ago, and now anytime i put any amount of gas into the car it doesn't start until i floor the gas and then start it, and then it barely holds up at around 200 RPMS and wavering. Car is a 99.5 2.8QMS, and the check engine light is now on too. I have an appointment with the dealer, but i thought some of you guys could give me some insight into the problem. Sorry for the length, but i appreciate your help.

Same thing happened to my car....
but mine staled in the middle of an intersection.
It started for a little bit but idled really low. so i pushed it home (a good half mile). Did some troubleshooting and found out the fuel pump died. I ordered a new one from the dealer. Everyhting is back to normal now.
