Default my car stalled on the middle of the road -- help!

when i start up my car the gas tank warning popped up, saying I have only 10km left (I forgot to fill her up the day before). Everything was normal for the first couple minutes, until I am goin up a hill, and I feel the car is choking and about to stall! i gave a bit more gas and it's ok again...

so I head to the closest gas station, pumped in about 8 litres of gas (only a bit cuz I never use their gasoline - Petro Canada, 91.5 ultra clean, I usually go to Sunoco for 92 or 94). so i thought that little bit should do it. I started up the car and left the station - while turning left to the opposite lane, the car choked 2-3 times, and then it stalled!

I pulled into P, e-brake, emergency flasher, and took the key out. and then restarted the car again. and then it was fine.

is the stalling solely due to the insufficient gas? could it be the chip?

HELP!!

Default By running the tank that low, you may have picked up crud in the filter

or lines that blocked the flow. When the pumping stopped, the debris probably fell back down to the bottom of the tank. Most tanks end up having some debris over time. Change the filter and try not to run it so low if you can.

Default Possibly some air in the line. Had similar problem once...

It should be fine after driving few more miles.

Default I agree. The incline probablt sloshed the fuel around so the pump sucked some air. You

should be fine.
