I need all of your thoughts...should i run my car in the Winter ?

how bad is it going to effect its resale value? i already have 20k miles on my car and i bought it on 05/01..

how many miles is alot for an s4 ?

You bought it to drive and enjoy I presume...

Winter driving is a great pleasure in an S4! Are you simply concerned with the miles on the salt/sand? How long do you plan to keep your S4. If you want to sell it within a couple years you will take a hit do to the high miles, but it you want to keep it for a long time just drive it and have fun. There are guys with 50K + on their S4s here. They can't stop driving them because they are so enjoyable. If you choose to keep it off the road, pick up an older quattro like a 5000TQ or a 4000 for cheap winter fun. Good luck. Where in Maine are you? My family has a place up there.

You're already stuffed regarding resale as soon as you

drive it off the lot. It's a car: metal rusts, rubber perishes. It'll lose
value just sitting there unused. Use it and enjoy winter!

PS Of course, you could always keep it for a summer car and buy something
more practical like a Vette or M3 for winter driving...
