So I had coilovers installed a few weeks back and...

I haven't had an alignment yet. The car does not seem to pull one way or the other do I really need an alignment?

Your S4 came with coilovers. Yes you need an alignment.

When I installed suspension on my last car, it didn't pull but alignment was way out of spec.

Dunno, piece of mind maybe? Have seen a lot of lowered S4s with really

worn front tires(inside edges) due to misallignment after suspension mods FWIW. Watch your tire wear closely if you choose not to do - for safety if anything else...

It can be way off without pulling. You could just ruin your tires, for example.

I just had my suspension re-done last week. Car tracks straight, but when I brake car, I can feel the front getting squirrelly on my. It's definitely whacked. Just get the alignment done...you spent all that money on a suspension, now set up up properly. But you might want to wait a few weeks (3-4)...give it time to settle, fiddle with the height until you're happy, then get it aligned.
