Had to pull third gear out of the bag of tricks this morning...
...a 740 was pestering my posterior and after a blast of 6th gear from 60-95 only put about a car length on him, the next gap in traffic saw the use of 3rd, and then 4th gear. About 10 seconds later, I was coasting down from 120 with about a 10 car gap between me and the huffing 740. My posterior was not ridden quite so hard the next time we got stuck behind an impassable flock of traffic. ;-) And I bet his gf/wife yelled at him too, and he didn't even get to win.
