buddy's s4 has siren sound

A friend has a 2000 s4 with about 48k org turbo, and in the mornigns or when cold it makes a siren sound, but it goes away most time when warm, is that the prelude to bad turbos if so mine with 29k started to make a similar sound but not as loud. thanks for tips

Sounds like it's normal....if you're **** you might want to check your bpv's

..to make sure they're not blown...

I blew both of my stock 710A's and when I went to 710N's the noise went down a bit...

If you want to stay stock, get 710N's...the stock 710A's suck @$$!!!

2000 S4 - 20k miles ........When mine are spooling they

have a siren type sound.

Piggie just worked on the car today. We ran VAG tests and replaced the MAF (75% efficiency).

After that the car ran really strong for bone stock. He said all of the pressures were good.

Turbo's looked good, hoses, diverters, etc ... they could be going bad, he said they sounded really different. :-(

Oh well, that's what ABW is for!!! LOL!!!
