Door Panel

I had my windows tinted and the shop took a chunk out of the front drivers sdie door panel and cracked the wood trim. THe good thing was they acknowledged the damaged and ordered new parts (they claim they were $600). Well they installed them yesterday and the ended up ripping the door panel slightly again and the trim piece that goes where your hand grabs the door to close the door doesn't fit right. Any tips on getting this piece to fit flush as it should. You can see from the pic that it just doesn't want to meet flush up top. Any help would be appreciated.

just remove the screw on the side and play with that ....
just remove the screw on the side and play with that small piece , it will fit ...door panel comes OFF so easy .. just gatta go UP and remove 2 screws on the side and 2 gold screws under that small plastic that dont want to fit right ..

Ditto to all these... just pry, push, prod, pull, poke and punish it until it gets in there...
it WILL fit with no gap, I get the exact same problem a lot, just seems like it wont fit until *snap* ...and it does.
