What would happen if...

I were to stick some 15mm H&R spacers I have laying around on my back wheels. Current size is 18x8 et 35 no rubbing at all. Anyone think I will rub with these extra 15mm? =x

Final et would be 20... Hmmmmm...

Any ideas?

My front fenders were rolled about 4 days ago, no more rubbing on the metal, but I felt so bad for the inner plastic liner, I dremeled a bit down today, and ended up being able to lift the plastic into the top lip of the rolled fender lip. (Think hard). Hopefully, I wont be rubbing anymore on the plastic. Now the rears, I'm just curious about those 15mm spacers. Just wondering if anyone knew before I actually slapped them on the car.

why would you want to do that if they work as is?

just want them to stick out farther?

My tastes differ quite greatly than many of those here...Yes, stick them out just a tad further.

15mm is pretty far... with your rideheight you should be able to...

...see how much lateral space you have between the outer edge of the tire and the inner edge of the fender. i'd guess you have less than 15mm... although if you're running 225/40 tires there'll be significantly more space than 245 or 255 for example.
