Default Will this fit: 18x8.5" ET35 wheel, 5mm spacers, 255 tires, car is lowered

I'm not slammed, but I'm lowered. I think I'll have to roll the fenders for sure, but even with rolled fenders will this set-up work?

Thanks,
Jacob

Default i think your going to rub. I would not use the spacers if possible. i was rubbing on 235 with a 26"

ride height but the fenders were not rolled. 18x8.5 et35

Default Don't understand why you need spacers? Unless they are very wide 255's? I didn't.

I am running 255/35, no spacers, rolled fenders, 25.6"f on 18x8.5 ET35 wheels.

Because the 18x8.5" ET35 wheel doesn't clear my front brakes : (

Default OK. You should be fine if you trim liners, roll fenders as long as you are not slammed and run a

255/35 tire.

Default I am assuming you are talking about the LM reps...

With a pretty aggresive roll of the fenders you should be good. Might rub if you hit some serious dips tho. Make sure you post pics once you get them on. BTW.. you should be able to roll your fenders yourself in less than an hour with a piece of 2' by 1.5" PVC pipe from Home Depot or Lowes. Should cost about $2.

Default Really? My ABT are same size and they clear...is it the spokes?...

And why a 255 tire? That's a lot of rolling resistance, unless you are really putting down a lot of power and need the increased hookup.

Yup, spokes. 255 because when I made a thread here that's what everyone told me to get.

Default IIRC, the prevailing optimum ET for running 255/35's is ET 37 or 38. At ET 35 - 5, you are ET30...

...putting you 7-8mm further outboard than optimum for that setup.

Default However, there is not much clearance to inside rear strut with ET35 and 255s. ET38 in rear may be

close to rubbing.
