APR 5.0 just threw me a code .. I thought I was in limp mode but no, there is some power there.

Default LOL - i don't think i've ever heard anyone say they "hate" their chip

The DTC probably wasn't caused by the chip - probably something that was teetering on the brink of destruction, and was thrown over the edge by the extra fuel/air/boost/power/etc. I had an EGT sensor fail right after I installed my AMS chip.

Dunno, though. Whats the code?

Default I'm gonna have to hit up a local for a VAG-COM to see .. I may have a boost leak ...

when I floor it in 2nd it feels like the engine is going but im not going that fast .. clutch seems okay ... Whats weird is the MIL came on right when i started the car when I got out of work .. I dunno .. i forgot how annoying modding was .. gonna build a pressure tester this weekend and go that route

I had similar symptoms, it was a bad egt sensor, but do vag first

I hope it's an EGT sensor - I'd hate to look for a boost leak

maybe. EGTs are 'spensive and a PITA to install.

have to.

Default You could have a dying MAF.

The APR's boost generally kicks in HIGHER in the rev band than other chips. If you punch it in 2nd, at say 3600 you'll get a good rush.

Get the codes read, that will help you.
