Got error code for Oxygen Sensor -would this effect performance?

I'm seeing erratic performance with REVO boosting. -Loud whoosing sound when I WOT but no VAGcom error for low boost pressure -possibly sensor location is not detecting boost loss?

what sort of mods do you have besides revo?

"Loud whoosing sound when I WOT" my first thought would be boost leak.

No other mods -all stock -sound goes away in stock mode

Could a bad diverter or boost regulator be dumping boost back into the airbox?

thoughts

the dv would be the first place i would start. most people (incl myself) get an upgraded one when they chip, the stock valve has been known to fail often.

replace valve, clear codes. see if fault codes come back.

if the codes come back, i would search all hoses for signs of cracking/tearing and try to look for a leak.

if that doesnt work.. then maybe your 02 sensor is going bad?
