Boatload of joy?
To my understanding a freighter is en-route to the San Diego port with my 2.7T; and it supposedly left Europe a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure of these details but if anyone knows when this shipment is expected to arrive in San Diego that would be great. Based on the window sheets at some Bay Area dealers, it seems most came via San Diego. My plan of course is to take a bus down to meet it, and drive my baby back along Hwy 1, which should provide good break-in conditions.

Seems these time vary quite a bit. My 2.7 T was loaded on a ship on March 8th. The ship left port on March 13th and arrived in San Diego on March 31st (most crossing estimates seem to be 14 to 21 days). It arrived in Denver on April 14th.
Your "baby" should be due any day. Best of luck and enjoy it. I and many others are.

Wow, two weeks to go from Europe to San Diego, then another two weeks just to go to Denver? Isn't that a two-day drive?
Well, if it is coming sooner than I thought then that changes things a bit - I still have to sell my current car and so far no luck...
