750 miles and ......
my 4.2 rides like a dream. I'm enjoying it more than I imagined I could. I've been taking the long way home and volunteering to pick up anyone or anything. The interior is a different world than the 528 I was driving and it sure is nice not to feel like I'm looking into a mirror at every stop sign. The accelleration is top notch, the steering is way too loose (although it makes parking a breeze) and the car bounces a little too much after going over potholes(NYC). All in all I feel very very good about my decision.I'm really enjoying my car (and this forum).

Glad that you have the same feeling as me...Live on Long Island and just put 400 miles on the clock since picking up my Casablanca white / Melange 4.2 last Tuesday night! Try to avoid those potholes and head for Jones Beach and Ocean Parkway on the South Shore...a great car deserves a great road and view of the ocean! Can't wait till break-in is done...then I can meet you down there on that straight piece of barrier island!

Ike and Mike, ditto for me. I've had my 4.2, sport pkg., ming blue/melange for 5 weeks.
Ike, what tires do you have on your car? I live in NYC and while I don't drive it on a daily basis (only to get out of the city usually on weekends) I found it really good on the horrible street of this city. Mike same question on the tires. Do you guys have the sport pkg? My car came fitted with Pirelli 6000's (255/40-17) on the 17 5 spoke wheels.

I got the Dunlop sp5000 with the 16" wheels,no sport package. When making my decision I was concerned about snow because I drive in Westchester quite often. I also prefered the standard seats to the sports. But if there is something that I can do about the "bounciness", I'll probably do it.
