Removing A6 xenon headlights?

Removing A6 xenon headlights?
Does anyone know how to remove the A6 xenon headlight assembly. I messed around with it last night and it looks like the only way is to also remove the front bumper cover as well. Can anyone confirm this?

Audi does not want you working on your Xenons.....
You will notice that any form of instruction on bulb replacement is missing in the owners manual. You will also notice several 'high voltage / do not touch' type warnings in your manual. They want you to let your dealer's service department handle it.
The Xenons do utilise a high voltage supply system and I quess Audi's attorneys feel there is too much risk in telling us how to replace the bulbs.

Actually I want to remove the Amber reflector (more)
From the turn signals. I have seen people doing this in the S4 forum and the results are nice IMO. The difference though appears to be that we have to remove the bumper cover to get the light assembly out.
