Windsheields and Detectors
Guys:
I apologize for persisting, but let me ask this question another way:
Does the 1998 A6Q with Warm Weather package have the same kind of "bad" tinted windshield as the A8 has? This is important for me, for the Valentine article seems to imply this is a propblem with the A8 only (they do not mention the A6 Warm Weather package). All of the previous postings seemed to respond by quoting A8 examples.
Does ANYONE have any experience with this, other than just thinking there is a problem? Does the A6 with Warm Weather windhseild have degraded performance "reading" radar? Thanks again...........Andras

Andras, I believe that the first A6's (Latest style) had some sort of thermal glass. The later ones (I have a 99 1/2 with the warm weather package) did not have special glass. Maybe April knows for sure.
