Gas Guage Tank Sensors
They ordered sensors for my gas tank about a month ago. Still nothing. Is anyone else out there still waiting for the new version of the three sensors that are supposed to fix the gas tank gauge that never quite knows how much gas is in the tank? This same problem also causes the "need fuel" indicator to go off in a random manner.

Somewhat amazingly, my dealer had them in stock and replaced the sensors almost immediately! (more)
I hope that he used the new/revised sensors? At any rate, the gauge is reading quite accurately since the repair (about 1 month ago).
BE CAREFUL not to overfill your tank once the repair is completed. Accidentally overfilling my tank (to the point of overflow out the top and onto the ground) seems to have encouraged my original sensors to immediatley go "nuts." Hopefully, the new ones will be able to better tolerate such a seemingly harmless mistake?
