Hi
I have been here for a while, and your posts seem to be correct and to the point. for that reason could you please scan down to the posts about the heated steering wheel. When we purchased our 4.2 I was told it did not have this feature,that Audi took it off the options list.What is the true answer? If it is there , how does it work?

I have been told that it was deleted .....
Too many folks thought there was something wrong with their car.
Being in SoCal, I can't test this. You see, it only works when the external temp falls to a certain level and you've turned on your seat heater.

Not necessarily true.
Hate to add to the confusion, but my smart-alleck friends thought they'd give me a "hot-seat" by turning my seat up to "6" without my knowing. I was on full butt roast while it was 93 degrees outside.

The seat will heat, but the wheel heater depends on outside ambient temp
once ran an autocross in San Diego having inadvertantly turned on my seat heater ( a button on the center armrest ). For much of the day, I thought I was having hot flashes a little early in life;-)
