Oops, now where did that tool go??
Was exploring under the hood this morning, poking and prodding, when my arm knocked a screwdriver down into the dark engine depths. Word of caution- do not, repeat do not drop anything down this black hole. The only way to retrieve your lost tool, part or doodad is too remove the lower engine cover. That in itself is no big deal if you can raise up the car, but if on the ground, it is very taxing to wedge yourself in there to get at the screws. I was finally able to remove my offending tool after some contortions and it was hot!!! 100 degrees. Gotta tie a string on the tools so that I can pull them back up!! LOL. Oh yea forgot to say that while I was trying to reach the tool from the top of the engine I promptly dropped the thing I was using to get the screwdriver!!!! Both were rescued with no harm done to animal or machine.

Re: At least you can get your hood opened. Had my car detailed and when
they popped the inside latch the lever in front of the grill did not pop out.
I'll try and wait a week to at least enjoy the detail before taking in my car.
I'm on the list for a loaner.

Well I dropped the Chip,,,,, and salsa that uhhhhhhh I was warming up on the the engine covers. Garrett,,, uh I mean Fritos are the best!. Just kidding was installing K&N air filter.
