need help, drove through crosswalk paint on way to work
I have a black car, so when I drove thru freshly painted sidewalk it spun off my tires and now the sides of my car are sprayed with white drops of paint. I have called the city to ask what they are going to do, and only got a "we will call you back" response. Any idea of how to remove this, proceed with the city, etc...

Two suggestions
You will have better luck getting $$$ from the city if you can show financial loss. So if you go to a detailer and he takes the paint off, you submit the receipt. If you DIY, you submit receipt for products purchased and come up with a reasonable fee for your sweat equity.
You might also check out carcaroneline.com and Griot's. 3M makes a product, I think it's called Adhesive Trim Remover, that both these guys rave about. It will probably take that nasty paint off.
My dad drove his red 69 Mustang over a freshly retarred stretch of road once. That stuff was on the rocker panels FOREVER. Tar remover just smeared it around. Ah, happy memories.
