New 2001 2.7t on the autobahn
I ended up with a silver 2.7t loaded with everything except the sport package and cold weather group. I only have 1000 mile on the car right now and have changed out the tail lights at $200 and had the eibach springs installed for less then $500 bones. I guess it helps to be in Germany. My next option will be wheels and tires and then I will take a trip to Koblenz for a new chip.
I have had one problem though that I had to make a trip to the dealer. It seems when you have the sunroof all the way open it makes a terrible noise like a helicopter in the distance. I guess Audi knows about this and will be fixing my baby next week. Its something to do with the wind deflector.
I wish I had a garage the other night because some dirtbag took it apon himself to mark my car with a new key induced pinstripe on the trunklid.
I'm pissssssssssed!!!!! I already got a quote of $250 to fix it. Damb the luck!! That could have been my new brake pads.
Sorry, now the bad news; if anyone is able to do anything for the whupming noise from a fully open sunroof, I think it'll be a first. My understanding is that it's a "design characteristic." I take care of it by closing mine one or two clicks, as is recommended in the U.S. manual.
