Pulley noise

Anyone notice a big difference in the pulley noise from on the 2.7 (automatic) when you are gear and not (p or n). the dealer says it is normal, but it cant be, almost sounds like a bearing rattling or scraping.

My 2001 2.7T has no rattling or scraping, in gear or not.

Sort of a metalic rattling, or almost like when a water pump starts to go, but its not water pump

Also...

under 3/4 or more throttle, there is an air intake noise, almost a rattling as well, anyone heard this as well?
