2.7T overfilled at oil change
It also occurs to me that you could have some problems due to oil going into the intake manifold from the crankcase vent but this oil would just go into the cylinders and burn (some pollution, maybe catalist damage).
Keep in mind that all the above is with a severly overfilled engine. The one time I actually saw these things was on a friends Chevy. His dad had the oil "changed" but the mechanic forgot to drain the oil. He added 5 quarts to an already full crankcase so the engine had at least twice as much oil as normal. I drove the car that way for several hundred miles and didn't notice much other than low power (but it was a 6cyl Malibu with a 2 speed auto, so it had no power on the best of days). When my friends dad got the car back he thought I had broken his car until he took it to his mechanic who, fortunately, admitted to his error. The car seemed to be undamaged, by the way.
