hello all
i just purchased a 1996 a6 quattro a few months ago. I wanted to ask a couple of questions. I noticed that the analog clock in my car is not working. Is it expensive to replace? the temp gauge is not working either. is it easy to fix? is it a sensor problem? or do they have to take apart the dashboard? i also noticed that the gas cap on is a bright green. is that the standard color or a replacement? it has the audi logo on it. finally, is it worth getting an extended warranty on my car. I have 63000miles on it. any help would be greatly appreciated

Please post to the 100/A6 forum....
1) No idea on the clock.
2) You need to solder the old bulb off and the new one one. Takes a couple hours. You can do it yourself. We have detailed instructions.
3) Yes, green is standard. Used to be black.
4) Yes, it's a good idea to get a warranty. Please do.
