Can anyone recommend a good car battery charger

that is smart enough to switch to trickle when the battery is fully charged, and where to get it?

Shumacher is the "old standby". Just about any charger is smart enough to trickle since 1970, do you

mean something else? What are you going to d owith it? What's the application?

COSTCO usually has a couple of good chargers in the auto area, a small one and a big one with wheels. SAM's Clubs are probably the same.
