Interesting Glitch This Morning: Anyone experience?

Interesting Glitch This Morning: Anyone experience?
Started my 00 2.7t this morning, and noticed that the usual "Apply Brake....etc" message in my center display had a blank line slicing right through the word "Apply". Having had the display replaced in my previous 99 2.8Q, it didn't seem as though it was showing the same symptoms.
I didn't think more about it, and put the car in reverse, when the parktronic signaled that there was an obstruction directly behind me as pulled out of the garage. Naturally, I stepped out to see if there was anything back there..and...found.....Nothin.
I got back in the car, the display looked normal again.....put the car in reverse.....the parktronic didn't make a peep as I backed the car out.
Ok.......I know I should probabally be cutting back on the caffene..but this glitch was interesting.
Anyone experience? (and don't tell me Jimmy Hoffa is buried under my garage floor)

Mine did sort of the same thing but it was because of a faulty parking sensor. After it was replaced...no more problems. Don't know if that helps.. Use VagCom to see if there is a faulty sensor or just bring the car in.
