Switchblade Programing
Real old newbie that's been lurkin', searchin' and generally enjoyin' the action on these two (A6 & S4) forums. Having been an Audi owner for about 30 years, I have owned some of the best and worst examples that this marquee has produced. Current Quattro count is four. Anyway you do the math; I qualify as an old f---. I'm still an instructor at the local Quattro, oops; I mean Audi, Club track events and enjoy hot laps. I have a few issues and rants that I intend express in the near future with the promise that I will do the obligatory search first. My first test for these knowledgeable groups is how do I fool my '02 S4 into believing that my wife's '00 A6 switchblade remote should let her in? Locking or unlocking the car with the key and then pressing the lock/unlock button on the "new" remote doesn't do it.
Has anybody actually successfully programmed a new switch blade remote in a car that has two active remotes already in place? How did you do it? TIA!
Thanks for the help!
