Post Oil Change Improvement

Call this a dumb question, but:

This is my first oild change with my 99a6
After the oil change(10W-30 with the MoA additive) the car drives so much better...Better pickup, everything...The oil temperature is a little higher as well

Did the oil additive cause this or was it just the oil change?

Watch the oil temp it should be cooler or the same
