couple of races over weekend.
A buddy of mine has a 99 mustang GT. We raced from 55-125 a number of times. Each time my car would pull away slowly. Initial take off he would gain a 1/4 car while the turbos spooled. As soon as the turbos were making their power it was obvious the 2.7t was quicker. He was only person in his car, I had my wife and buddy in car.
The following day on my way home from Ohio, I was behind a Saab 9-5 turbo, there realy was no competition, I walked away from him a few times. Very nice guy, we exchanged smiles and a nod. On an on-ramp I found the 9-5 to be more of a pig than my 03 A6. I have 18-SRR's with great rubber, I had no problem keeping up with him on the corner while he was squeeling away.
Same Trip - 3.5 Altima. It was surprisingly quick from 40-70. I would walk away but not that quickly from him. But, after 70 it was over, I would just jog away.
