New rotors on all 4 today! :-)
Warranty replacement is a many splendored thing however, and today 4 brand new shiny rotors were installed.
I went easy on them for about 5 miles, then performed 80-30 cycles a number of times.
The brakes are now (and for a while, I hope) smooth as silk!!!
Small pleasures, but nice brakes are... nice brakes!
According to O.CT specs, I should have pretty close to 400lb-ft of torque and just over 370HP with my current setup.
What is really interesting is the smooth delivery of power -- silky smooth right to the top of the tach! I think it is partly due to the flat torque curve, and partly magic! I feel that it is as smooth or smoother than stock with a TON more torque and HP!
Basically from 2300 or so right to 6500 my car just keeps on pulling! I have not been to the drags, but a similarly set up A6 is running in the low 13's. Not bad for a 4000 lb luxury sport sedan IMHO!

click for the A6 Stage 4 page at Stratmosphere
