2.7T Startup Question
When I start my car it revs high in idle (apr. 1200-1400 rpm) for about 30 seconds. During that time when I try to accellerate it moves very slowly and makes a lot of noise. I was driving a 4.2 prior to this car and never experienced anything like this. Is this normal, is it a turbo issue?

My 2.7 starts easily and drives normally when cold. It seems a little louder when cold, but nothing I would call intrusive. The only thing different when cold is the Tiptronic transmission, which shifts hard until warm.

Air injection pump...
I had a 2000 2.7 and never had that sound, now have a 2003 and have the same thing, slightly throaty rumble for about 30 seconds on cold startup. I thought I had an exhaust leak, the service manager tells me its an air injection pump to reduce emissions on cold starts. Said it is in changed location from earlier models and the noise is more evident. Sounded reasonable to me. It rumbles for 30 seconds or so and then abruptly stops.

What you describe (noise, acceleration) doesn't sound normal to me...
Unless, perhaps, this is an older car. Mine is a bit noisier at startup, perhaps, but not much, and drivability is fine. Idle is a bit higher on startup, too, but this is normal and on-par with other vehicles. The TIP is slow to shift when cold, though.
