Anything special I need to know about oil & fltr change on 2.7T??
Might do it myself if it can be done without a hoist. Anything that makes it different from a typical oil change operation?

Get the car as high up as you can (safely) to make it easier...
... to get the skid plate off. The fasteners toward the back are hard to reach if you are sliding around under the car. And, yes, getting it back ON is MUCH harder than getting it off. You will cuss.
Make sure you have more than 7 quarts of new oil available. You will probably need more than 6.
