Reset computer by unplugging battery?
Is it possible to reset all the modules in the a6 back to their "defaults" by disconnecting the battery? If so, how long does it need to stay disconnected?
My "new" car has been tweaked a little bit by the previous owner, I just want to go back and get everything back to stock.

You will need a VAG COM to reset everything
About the only thing that you can "reset" by disconnecting the power is the throttle body adaptation.
After disconnecting and reconnecting power to the ECU, leave the key in the "run" position for a few minutes without starting the car or touching the accelerator pedal.
Everyhthing else that I know of is saved in non volatile memory in the ECU and has to be explicitly set/reset.
