Dual Twin Exhaust on a 4.2

Is it possible to fit dual tip exhaust under a 4.2? I've seen some Magnaflow projets that have put single tips on 2.7t but no 4.2's. Has anyone tried? I know I'd have to change the rear valance but other than that I wonder why it would'nt work. Please give feedback

Why did you chose not to? Do you remember what the cost was and does it fit a 4.2?

Cost was the main factor.. plus I didnt want to carve up the valence on my new 4.2....

As I recall it was about 2 grand for the exhaust mufflers only! Thats 1,000 bucks a side.. Anyway, after seeing/hearing the Supersprint system I felt it was what I was looking for. No way to preview the abt dual pipes.. So for that kind of moolah I wanted to know how it would sound first..

Were did you get the Supersprint from?

Did you ever think of having a good muffler shop build you one with Magnaflow or Flowmaster mufflers?

Got it here..Didnt want to go with unknown commodity...

Someone on these boards ( was it LMgotts?) posted a quicktime movie clip of their S6 with the supersprint system and this enabled me to hear it before I bought it. Turns out its was really close to what I was looking for..Plus it bolts right on.. no welding needed.<ul><li><a href="http://www.pes-tuning.com/oldsite/index.html">http://www.pes-tuning.com/oldsite/index.html</a</li></ul>
