Bose Symphony question- can AM volume be reset by itself?.....
Didn't have this problem in the '98 system.
New car has Symphony/Bose. Volume on AM is twice as loud as FM, CD or Tape. So if I forget to lower volume when switching from FM to AM, I blast myself and my passengers out.
Can I reset via the head unit or with VAG-Com?

Sometimes on my MY 2000 2.7T, I'll turn the car on...
and the am station will have switched one notch. So if I listen to 630, I turn on the car and it is set to 640. I know I don't change it before removing the key, so its pretty strange. Pretty damn annoying though since the new station is static and it ends up pretty loud.
Plus, my car gets the worst AM reception - its horrible.
