What color should auto dimming be?

What color should auto dimming be?
My rearview and driver side mirrors are blue-ish while the passenger is kind of bronze. They are all functional as far as I can tell. And, yes they do have the black rubber around the mirrors. Just wondering what is the offical color?? And if one is bad, do I change the lense or the whole assembly? How much?

blueish is correct for dimming...
when they start to yellow, the autodim is failing. You need to replace the glass insert, not the whole assembly. The glass part is very expensive (I think more than $200), but I hope I am wrong. I just had mine replaced under warranty just prior to hitting 50K miles.

how does it fail?
Does it not mask the light anymore and become "normal" mirrors or ? Even though they are yellow/bronze it still act like its working. Boy if its $200 plus, I'll have to search the salvage yard for a complete mirror
