Audi A6 2000 2.8L Problem....
I thought it might be the torque converter but here is the catch...after driving for about 10 minute...I guess after the car warms up....everything is fine.
Any suggestions....I live in NYC...and the mechanic here try to rip you off...can anyone suggest a honest mechanic. I do not mind driving to them.
Let me know
Bruce
1) Turn the ignition on until all the dash lights are lit but DONT start the car.
2) Do not touch anything
3) Press the accelerator down to the floor and hold down for 2-3 mins
4) Release pedal and turn of ignition
Apparently, thei s recalibrates the throttle to the acclerator position which can become out of stnc over time.
Hope it helps
