If you did the thermoswitch mod and the fan doesn't start after the engine comes up to temp...
To my surprise, it only worked during hotter days, during the cooler days it would not come on. At the same time i noticed that my engine temp gauge is a little bit under the half (just about 1/4 of division) and i did a log of the engine temp. This proved what i suspected... the thermostat is not doing its job anymore and my engine is runing too cold...the temp in a cooler day went under 87F.
So, if any of you AW members are having issues with the thermoswitch, you might want to check the engine temp.
The tricky part is that the temp gauge "middle" covers about 10 degrees (it's dampened), so when it starts going under, you're actually at least 5 degrees below the nominal temp. Now, replacing the thermostat... that's a whole new horror story.
