Default Engine Temperature

The temp gauge always point to 110C and sometime it will go to red zone when the car stops. The coolant level is fine. Is there something wong with the car? I'm in toronto and the temp here is around 30C.

Default Extremely Normal Operation

Think about it.

The temp sensor is at the engine block, close to the thermostat area.
When you shut off a hot car, the temps in the engine block are naturally gonna rise.
As soon as you start the car, or turn on the water temp gauge, it reads hot.
Supposed to, as it's reading the elevated tempos in the engine.

Start the car, and the water circulates, and the temps in the engine drop.

Got it?

Default When I do AutoX and Road Tracks I get the same type thing...

Particularly when the car is stopped, but the engine is in idle.

I have found that turning on the A/C that it will bring down the temperature quicker. (Kirby was first to note this.)
