electrical problems? rpm guage doesn't work...and
and , my check engine oil light keeps going on and off..... my rpm guage sometimes moves up and down periodically. Overall, everything else seems fine, and the engine runs fine. I have 120k....and just noticed this problem after spilling coffee TODAY down the instruments cluster (radio area). Is there a relay or something back there that the coffee may have reached? thanks, Jeff

Pull cluster, unplug stuff, clean contacts, plug stuff back in.
I think you already answered your own question. Oh, and one piece of advice...DON'T SPILL COFFEE IN YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL!!!

I tried cleaning the cluster contacts, but that didn't work...any other suggestions?
If coffee did manage to go down the top vents, where would it go? Is there a circuit board back there .....I did remove the cluster, and cleaned - didn't help. I'm wondering if I have a ECU board problem, since my brake pad wear light started acting up for about 3 weeks prior to this problem....and the pads are fine. Would anyone be willing to swap ECU to see if thats my problem....I'll give you some money. thanks,
