check that the TB has been done, in the best case.
Check if tranny fluid has ever been changed.
Really depends on mileage. I bought a used a6 with 70K and i replaced the TB, plugs, fuel filter, tranny fluid, speed sensor which went bad and killed the engine while driving (Scarry!!) all for 2,800 and i still got brakes to do for 700.00 maybe. Also my ABS light came on which the dealer claims its a 1500 job, but i found the core of the problem which is the module and its really more of a 200 job DIY.
