Pixel update...
Whoda thunk it?It has now been almost 2 months and my surly and misbehavin' display has magically self corrected itself.I would say I have between 95 and 100% of display intact at all times.And no,fellow engineers,I did not count 'em.This is what we refer to at my co. as an "educated guesstimate".

I'd say yes, at least in my case. The top row of my disoaly was fading out
a coule of days ago when I left the car out without the dash protector, but as soon as I got it cooled down they were all there. It was about 105 when it happened.

Everybody seems to think temp is a factor and I used to also as display was better at night than during the day but we live in Hawaii and the sun always shines for the tourists!That being said,I always take pains to keep the car garaged and lately the display doesn't vary w/ regard to temp...indicated 90 degrees today and it was all there.
