Prop shaft/differential seals replacement?

Prop shaft/differential seals replacement?
I have a 99 2.8 Avant with about 100k on it. I had the timing belt and control arms done, and except for a lot of minor things that don't work properly (headlight washer gets stuck, rear washer leaks, rear window control switch in operative, console cupholder broken, pixels out, missing luggage cover...) it runs great!
But when I had it with the Audi guy, he said the next thing will be to replace the seals on the prop shafts and differential(s?). My question is: is that the most likely/plausible thing to get done? What other (large) wear items should I expect?

Your Audi guy is selling a seal replacement project. In the interest of avoiding repeat responses,.
Search for my recent posts on an inexpensive alternative to replacing rotary shaft seals.
