I had found this tech article on installing a Motorola 98500 car kit https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec141.shtml
I have had trouble finding one(ebay)- does the HF850 follow the same procedure? Anyone installed the HF850?

Thank you BD- I do have question, did the 10 pin connector go to the stereo or into the hands free module? It looks pretty straight-forward, I'd like to do it myself for some satisfaction...
I found some HF850's- may get the 1000 for the caller id.

The 10-pin connector goes in the back of the radio...
...so the sound for the telephone goes through the stereo speakers, and the radio/cd mutes automatically when a call is received or placed.

I have the HCB-300 Sony Ericsson.. absolutely love it... Works great!!
I used all the instructions on the Tech articles. HOWEVER if you have a MFSW then DO not follow all the instructions of fusing together the pins on the DB25 as it will blow the audio controller on your steering wheel.. I did that but luckily it was replaced in extended warranty..email me if you need more details.. I bought the HCB-300 for $60 on ebay.. brand new.. Email me if you need more details.. Works with Treo and Blackjack..
