Front Axle Removal

Hi! I am new to the group but have been lurking for about 1 year. I have to say that this has been my best resource for info.

I have a '97 A* and need to change the front outer CV joint boot. I have read the procedure and would like to know where I can get the 3 square tool used on the axle to transmission bolts.

I found mine at Snapon.com, but it wasn't cheap......

I actually found it was the same one that I used to use on my old 5000 CS Turbo axles. I forgot that I had it.

Negative, Kemosabe, I've looked. Yours may, mine don't.

Pep Boys, Advance, Sears, and Sears Craftsman catalog, none had them.

I think I got mine originally at Autozone. I have had them for so long ( I owned the 5000 CST for about 15 years) that I have forgotten. I know I am getting old - 55.
