137mph Ticket Update
I scheduled a biz trip back to Las Vegas at the same time my court appearance came up for doing 137 in 75. The officer never showed up! The hearing was about 11am, so when the judge saw the officer was not there, he recessed until 12:30. I was sweating pretty bad knowing they were probably doing everything they could to locate the officer.
12:30 came around and no officer. They dismissed the speeding ticket and reckless driving offense, but the judge gave me a pretty stearn lecture and and said I was one of the few who got lucky in his county.
I behaved and hardly got above 80 in my rented Chevey Cavalier for the rest of the trip.
