2000 A8 wheel application w/lowered susp
Hello
Can anyone tell me if they are running a 18 x 9" rear with a 32mm offset? I would like to run either a 245/45/18 or 255/45/18 snow. The wheel offset calc that i used says the wheel will be 29mm further out than factory. i felt that this might be a little to much. The car has been lowered 1/14 with Eibachs. Any help would be much appreciated.

You won't have any problems
Stock offset is 48mm, yours will be 32mm, which is a difference of 16mm......don't know where you got the 29mm, but it's not correct.
The stock wheel is 8", yours will be 9", you won't have any problems.

It'll be close ...
I'm running 9" wide ET39 and had been thinking that 9.5" ET39 would also fit ... probably. Your 9" ET32 sticks out 1mm past the 9.5" ET39. Let me know if it works :-)

Calgary's 29mm is correct ...
The centerline of the wheel moves out 16mm, but with a 9" width vs 8" stock, the outside of the wheel moves out 29mm.<ul><li><a href="http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html">Wheel Offset Calculator</a></li></ul>
