Question for those who have the TC locking/unlocking problem..
2)If your tranny went out, how long between the start of the TC problem and the time the tranny failed?
I just developed the problem recently and I am getting nervous! I did a flush 8K ago at 87K.
That was about two years ago, had the fluid and filter changed about 3 times since, particles found on the magnets.
7 track events later, 5 auto crosses under my belt, it still works. I now drive around in 4th.
If I knew somebody could fix it (I've heard that some have had them rebuilt and still have the same problem), I would have it rebuilt.
Under high loads, it works like a champ, under low loads, it sucks wind!
