overheating

Well... ive changed the fan clutch...the electric fan and completly flushed the coolant and repalced it with the g12 ...

the damn thing still overheats while idleing...

Maybe next i need to cut out some vents... its crazy...

its definately air related.. ideas?

thermostat ? Air lock after flushing ? Are both the top and bottom hoses getting hot ?

if not, you probably have an air lock...

I had a same problem.

This summer I was in Palm Springs ( 115F ). I had over heating problem. I thought it's normal because of the desert heat, but a week later I was in San Francisco ( 70 F ) and it still over heated.the over heat only occurred if the speed was less than 35-40 mph. I think it had an air bubble, because all I did was to top of the reservoir. Now is fine in Chicago ( 80F ). If I were you, I would fill it 80% water and 20% G12. I don't think that you need more protection in UAE.

Have you checked to see if the large fan comes on at all?
Behind the drivers side front wheel there is a ground plate with 3 ground posts and 4 or 5 wires grounded there. I had a similar overheating problem and noticed that one of the grounding screws had corroded and broken off leaving a loose wire. The other 2 were on their way out as well so I removed the plate and drilled out the old bolts. Replaced the ground posts with screws and reconnected everything.
