1999 A8 4.2 Strange dash light experience
Would anyone know why my clock and odometer remain lit for about 1 minute after the lights are off and the key is out,and the second switch on the dash blinks a red triangle rapidly for about 10 secs and then stabilizes to a steady flash??? Paul..........help.

Hi,
the lights remain lit by default, but don't ask me why... Probably so you can write down your time of arrival? Who knows.
The rapidly binking triangle tells you that the interior alarm (I don't know if that's the right expression) is being activated. As soon as as it is flashing slowly the aram is armed.
